  • Cotton-cashew sector - The regulator is aiming for ISO 9001 version 2015 certification 12/19/2022

    The Cotton and Cashew Council, an institution for the regulation, monitoring and development of the cotton and cashew sectors, has had a visual identity since its creation in 2013, which has enabled it to achieve good results. However, the proximity of its logo to that of the Coffee and Cocoa Council led the Director General of the Cotton and Cashew Council and the members of the Board of Directors to develop a logotype which takes into account the new ambitions of this structure, namely certification to the ISO standard. Indeed, according to Dr. Adama Coulibaly, the Cotton and Cashew Council (CCA) aims to be among the leaders, by making a point of honor on good governance within this structure. “We are in the process of certification to the ISO 9001 version 2015 standard. As a regulatory institution, we must be certified and each employee must be part of this dynamic. It is for us to offer a quality service in all the value chains of the cotton and cashew sectors, in order to improve the conditions of the producers”, justified Adama Coulibaly. Furthermore, the Director General of CCA expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Patrick Achi and his government, whose support has never been lacking in the cotton and cashew sectors.
